Wizards says the full prize table will be published in the week of the event. The magic.gg viewer's guide describes Worlds 32 as the final premier Standard event before rotation, played with more than three years of cards.

Two new things at once

The Draft rounds use Star Trek, which releases in stores on 13 November, the opening day of the event. That makes Worlds the first top-level event to play the set in Limited, on the same day most players can first buy it.

The Standard half closes out the current card pool. Wizards' State of the Formats article puts the next Standard rotation in early 2027, and ties it on MTG Arena to 2 February 2027. The decks at Worlds are the last word on this Standard at the highest level.

What it means

For Standard players, the Worlds decklists are worth reading even with rotation only months away. They show which cards hold up at the top of the format, and some of those cards stay legal after rotation. We would treat any price spike on a Worlds-winning card with caution so close to rotation. That is our view, not a forecast.

For sealed buyers, the Draft rounds give an early, high-level look at which Star Trek commons and uncommons decide games. It won't move box prices on its own, but it's a fair signal of how the set plays. We will add the Star Trek boxes to the booster box calculator once the set has market prices, and the release dates and products are in our Star Trek release story.

What happens next

The event starts on Friday 13 November. Magic Spotlight: Star Trek events follow in January, the next stop for competitive Star Trek play.
