Pauper reverses course: ten Zeta Set commons are now legal, Narcomoeba and Price of Progress banned
Twelve cards printed at common for the first time in The Zeta Set became Pauper-legal on 7 September. Two were banned on arrival, and Baleful Strix is on a short leash.
- Twelve cards downshifted to common in The Zeta Set became legal in tabletop Pauper on Monday 7 September 2026.
- Narcomoeba and Price of Progress were banned immediately, leaving ten new cards in the format.
- Magic Online will not add the cards until its 23 September update, so paper and online Pauper differ for about two weeks.
